TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
